Gouda / Eindhoven, May 28, 2026 – ServerDirect and Axelera AI have officially signed a strategic partnership agreement focused on the development of powerful, scalable, and energy-efficient AI infrastructure for edge, enterprise, and high-performance computing environments.

Through this partnership, both Dutch technology companies combine their expertise in AI acceleration, server infrastructure, and local integration. Axelera AI’s AI processing units will be integrated into ServerDirect’s server platforms, providing organizations with access to advanced AI capabilities with a strong focus on performance, efficiency, and digital sovereignty.

The partnership was officially finalized at the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven.

European AI Infrastructure Requires a New Approach

Demand for AI capacity is rapidly increasing across sectors such as healthcare, research, industry, education, and enterprise IT. At the same time, there is growing demand for decentralized AI infrastructures that allow organizations to maintain control over their data, workloads, and infrastructure.

According to both parties, this development requires a different approach to AI.

From AI Acceleration to Full Integration

As part of the partnership, ServerDirect will be responsible for integrating Axelera AI technology into complete server and infrastructure solutions. The systems will be locally assembled, tested, and validated from ServerDirect’s integration facilities in Gouda.

This creates a fully integrated AI stack where performance, scalability, and energy efficiency are central.
