You are The Key to Managing Returns and Ensuring Excellent Customer Satisfaction
 As a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Specialist, you are responsible for managing and processing all return products. You inspect returned items, determine the reason for the return, and decide on the appropriate action. You ensure that products are replaced, repaired, or refunded on time.

A professional who can stand out with in-depth knowledge. With your expertise, broad perspective, and analytical skills, you can solve complex problems and improve RMA processes to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction. You work closely with the technical team to understand product issues and provide swift solutions, where quick adaptation and clear communication are strong assets.

As a coordinator between the logistics team and customers, you facilitate return shipments and ensure accurate documentation of all RMA transactions. You communicate effectively with customers to keep them informed of return status and address any concerns.

A selection of daily responsibilities

  • Review and approve return requests, ensuring all required documentation is provided;
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to facilitate product returns;
  • Inspect returned items, determine the reason for the return, and decide on the appropriate action (repair, replacement, refund, etc.);
  • Collaborate with the technical team to understand product issues and ensure swift resolutions;
  • Maintain accurate records of all RMA transactions;
  • Continuously improve the RMA process to optimize efficiency and customer experience;
  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing high-quality customer service, such as timely updates on return status and addressing any concerns.

Your background

  • Minimum of an MBO degree in a technical field;
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service, return handling, or a similar role;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Analytical skills and the ability to communicate analysis clearly to your colleagues;
  • Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal.

You have an advantage if

  • You have a hobby or passion for IT;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
  • You have a higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level.
